Morgan Ritcher-Sanchez, Librarian

Welcome back, Vikings!

We are so excited to welcome you back to campus. We hope that you continue to find the library your safe space to gather, study, print or grab something from Java City. Our regular hours this semester are 1p.m.-1a.m. on Sunday, 7a.m.-1a.m. Monday- Thursday, 7a.m.-5p.m. on Friday and 10a.m.-5p.m. on Saturday. Located to the left when your walk in the front entrance, our Library Service Desk is your one-stop for all things library. You can ask our helpful workers about checking out a laptop, charging station, printing, directions or help locating a book in our catalog. We have a small collection of textbooks for Foundations courses that you are welcome to check-out for a limited amount of time.

Our Reference Services Librarian, Phil Schaller, can be found in the office to the left across from the Library Service Desk. When you start to have assignments where you are asked to gather resources, read journal articles or cite your sources for a paper, you should come see Phil! Librarians are available for walk-in, same day or scheduled appointments. To learn more, click the “Library Help” button on our website at berry.edu/library.

We have a lot of fun things planned for this semester! We will once again host our workshop series: Memorial Library Skillshops. Most Skillshops are applicable to any major and designed to support your research. We will also have our annual Halloween Paint and Sip, Stressbusters for Finals, displays, and fun events. Be looking out for our September/October newsletter for more information! You can also follow our Berry College Memorial Library Facebook page and Instagram @mem_lib.

We are so excited to welcome all the students back to campus! We are not a library without YOU and look forward to making this the best academic year yet!
